IDP Patch Laminate with Globe Flags Hologram works with IDP Smart-51L laminating printers. Laminate (also referred to as overlaminate) provides a layer of protection over your printed cards, making them more durable and providing protection from wear and fading. Holographic laminates introduce an added card security feature since holograms are difficult to reproduce.

A patch laminate like the leaves the outer edge of an ID card unlaminated, but patch laminates are thicker and more durable than full-coverage laminates. The Hologram Patch Laminate is 1 mil thick, offering the highest density of laminate possible.

An IDP Smart-51 printer with lamination capability is needed in order to use the IDP hologram lamination ribbon.

IDP laminating card printers require a special overlaminate to function properly. To ensure printer performance and guarantee card quality, use only genuine IDP laminate ribbons.
